LISJAK oil mill is a family company, run by brothers Gregor and Matej, working young men in their early thirties, who took over the business from their father Frank, who opened his torkle (oil mill) in Koper more than two decades ago and a few years ago another one in his native village Krkavče just next to the Croatian border. The story of the LISJAK family started in 1930 when the first olives trees were planted. In 1993 they opened their oil mill. In 2008, Brothers Gregor and Matej decided to make a brand of their extra olive oils - LISJAK. Today, the trademark LISJAK is the highest in olive oil in Slovenia. Their oils are known abroad, used by the best restaurants at home and many countries around the world. Their sales do not reach only local markets but also to many countries in the world: USA, United Kingdom, Italy, Austria, Croatia, Dubai, China, and Luxembourg.
