Kocbek

Kocbek oil mill is a family company located at Stara Gora in the northeastern part of Slovenia in the Šcavniška valley. The family trade dates back to 1929, when Alojz Kocbek started with manufacturing pumpkin oil. He passed over his knowledge of oil making to his son Anton and he to his own son Gorazd who is now leading the third generation of oil makers. The oils are made traditionally, still ground on the machine that was used back in 1929, combined with the use of modern technologies to perfection, as is their bottle, specially manufactured to serve the oil inside. Today, their products are recognizable both at home and around the world, and are used in the most prestigious gourmet cuisine in the USA, Europe, Dubai, Australia, Taiwan, and Japan.
